Predictive Analytics with Python

This talk gives the listener a briefing to the world of predictive analytics, with more concrete text analytics as a source of great information, starting as simple as what is machine learning and what is text analytics to going through the practical exploration of a dataset of product reviews to get the sentiment towards a product. This a talk oriented to beginners to intermediate in machine learning, predictive analytics, text analytics and many other fields where these concepts apply. The main focus will be in using Scikit-Learn to do all kind of analytics to the data and what techniques are available and suitable for the mission of that data. In the process of the talk we will speak about how those techniques can ignite a new way of thinking about data and what you can do with it to open new ways of learning from an organization data, the data that it cannot handle, the data that lives in the web, in social networks, in reviews, in comments and everywhere where the product can reach there is data to analyze, so let's look for clever ways for that data to speak louder about what it means.
